Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a Division Chief of Interventional Radiology to join our organization.

Position Highlights:

  • Lead our well-established, collegial team of 4 interventional radiologists practicing at our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, in Springfield, MA. BMC is a 716-bed academic medical center and the region’s only Level I Trauma Center.
  • Facilitate growth and development within our division which currently consists of a broad spectrum of interventional services including angiography, arterial and venous interventions, UFE, vertebral augmentation, TIPS, venous access, and an active oncology program with RF ablation, cryoablation, Y-90 and chemoembolization.
  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient services, scheduled clinical time for pre and post op patients located on the main campus. Neurovascular work is covered by another team.
  • Enjoy a combination of clinical care and resident and medical student teaching with faculty appointment to the University of Massachusetts Medical School-Baystate. Our radiology residency program includes 4 diagnostic radiology residents per year.

Qualifications: ABMS BC in Interventional Radiology. 5+ years’ experience with evidence of progressive management responsibilities and leadership in an academic department. Demonstrable record of collaboration, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiasm for medical education and mentoring faculty and ability to engage a broad base of potential stakeholders to work towards a shared vision.
